Job Description:

Siamo Recruitment are currently looking for Mechanical/Electrical service installation Engineer on a full-time basis, located in Flintshire. 

Salary: to be discussed. 
 The role: 
  • Attending customer sites to install, commission, service and repair a range of blasting equipment.
  • Provide detailed and accurate reports on the condition of the customers’ equipment, following onsite machine examinations.
  • To investigate / identify machine problems in an emergency breakdown situation – both mechanically and electrical.
  • Identify situations whilst on site, where productivity or efficiency improvements to equipment can be recommended to the customer.
Requirements:
  • Full Driving License.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills, both customer facing and with internal / external staff.
  • Flexible working approach, which will include some weekend and unsociable working hours along with some overnight stays.

Hours of work:

  • Basic week 8-00am to 4-30pm
  • Due to the nature of the job and the location of some customers, overtime can be regularly worked and hotel stays will be required.

Certification required – (courses can be booked if lapsed):
  • Driving Licence
  • Forklift truck licence
  • IPAF
  • Confined space.
