Current News From REC/KPMG Report on Jobs

Staff placements in July surged with the fastest rate rise since March 2010 and vacancy growth accelerated to a six-year high, reported The Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC) and KPMG Report on Jobs released yesterday, 8 August 2013.

Temporary placements increased at the fastest pace in almost two-and-a-half years whilst permanent placements increased at the sharpest rate since March 2010.

This report reflects Nation Recruit’s recent business activity with a definite increase in demand for both temporary and permanent staff for our local businesses. This is real positive news for job seekers.

The growth confirms the UK recovery is definitely on an upward trend and the demand for staff looks to continue, as businesses that previously held back are now more confident to invest in staff and seek new talent.
